David Mora
Construction Superintendent
With a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship and an extensive background in all things wood, David brings over 20 years of hands-on construction experience to the Workbench team.
He first fell in love with Santa Cruz’s natural beauty in 2000, following his wife to UCSC. Struck by the natural beauty of the area they stayed and their life quickly blossomed with marriage, four children, and a thriving career at Timberworks. Starting as a production framer, David soon mastered everything wood from fine finish work to complex door and window installations. As his expertise grew he became a foreman and superintendent.
When the pandemic shifted his career path, David transitioned to Workbench, adding skills and experience to the design-build environment. Outside of work, David enjoys surfing, beach outings, and adventures, and making the most of Santa Cruz life.
