Wednesday Manners boasts over a decade of experience in management, administration, and event coordination. Her background spans education, concert venues, dance studios, and more. She’s worn many hats — from teaching and studio management to team support and operations.
Wednesday is highly skilled in communication, copywriting, and supporting both creative and administrative teams in fast-paced environments where both creativity and organization are key.
On Joining Workbench
Wednesday has called Santa Cruz home for over 15 years and was drawn to Workbench’s mission of creating affordable housing that strengthens the local community. Originally from San Francisco, she has seen firsthand how rising costs have forced friends and family to leave California. She's stoked to be part of a team that's working to make it possible for more people to stay, grow, and thrive in Santa Cruz.

Wednesday loves Santa Cruz because of its proximity to both the ocean and the redwoods, its historic charm blending with modern vibes, a steady stream of vibrant community events, and all the kooky people that reside within its unique beauty.
Outside of Workbench
When Wednesday isn’t working you can find her tending to her garden, dancing in a studio, making pottery, hiking, backpacking, sailing, and hanging with her pitty Ginger.
