Video: Standing Walls at Coastal Haven Families

Friends and neighbors, we’ve been looking forward to sharing our first video from our Coastal Haven Families project with you. Filmed in late February 2020 here in Santa Cruz, this day was a happy milestone for our team- we stood our first wall at our first multi-family housing project in our hometown. Our office and architecture teams joined our contractors on site, and even chipped in to get those first walls up.

Located on 6.7 acres within the City of Santa Cruz, this new micro-neighborhood and working farm will provide affordable housing for developmentally disabled young adults within our community. In addition to nine new ground-up single family homes and common gathering spaces, the completed project will also include a renovation of the property's historic home and a new ADU.

Many thanks to the storytellers at Seven Roots Creative for capturing the footage and editing this video for us.
